Trainee Health Professionals who finish their studies will no longer be employed by the Ministry of Health and Child Care’s Health Services Board but will have to be appointed under the Defence Forces Service Commission in-order to be appointed Junior Resident Medical Officers, Government has said.

The move sees Vice President Constantino Chiwenga’s Health ministry deliberately militarise the health sector on order for the staff members to be easily controlled.
