By A Correspondent| The Bindura mine disaster that collapsed and trapped over 20 people yesterday claimed another victim who fell into the chasm and disappeared during a rescue operation.

This was confirmed by Information Secretary, Nick Mangwana today.

According to Mangwana, the latest victim who was among volunteers working to rescue the trapped illegal miners fell into the chasm around 6pm and had not been found around 10 pm

The collapsed tunnel at Ran Mine in Bindura claimed another victim yesterday evening at around 6pm when one of the volunteer rescuers slipped and fell into the chasm. He immediately disappeared into the depths and by 10pm he had yet not been found.
