Three years ago it was President Robert Mugabe who the nation’s citizens hoped would step down. Tonight Zimbabweans have written saying they hope the ZANU PF usurpist Emmerson Mnangagwa will resign when he addresses the nation on live ZTV broadcast.

Mnagagwa is expected to address the nation this evening on ZTV after the Main News, the state broadcaster said in a statement.

This was followed by requests and wishes for him to resign.

“Hopeful he resigns,” said Tendai Zinyama.

Another only identified as Twoboy, said: The only good news to come from his address will be his resignation. The rest Sleeping accommodation. Sleeping accommodation.

“Sleeping accommodation.

“Sleeping accommodation nebhutsu.”

Others however such as Isiah Mataruka, said the address is still crucial for the nation. Said Mataruka: People want this address.

“Those who feel otherwise may just turn off their TVs. But haikona kuzonetsa muchiti zvanzii or waking up makapfeka wrong color muchiti we did not know.

“Stock markets respond to these important broadcasts.”
