Tinashe Sambiri|ARTUZ Secretary for Welfare Masvingo, Sheila Chisirimunhu, who was sentenced to 10 months in prison has been released on ZWL $ 2000 bail.

See full statement below:

A Masvingo High Court Judge today released jailed Masvingo Province Artuz Secretary for Gender and Social Welfare Sheila Chisirimunhu who was sentenced to 10 months in prison on bail.

We therefore celebrate the defeat of Satan concurrently demanding her immediate acquittal since it was her right enshrined in the supreme law of the country to demonstrate and petition for a better living wage. We are grateful to the Judge who did not oppose bail for our own Sheila Chisirimunhu.

Holding a placard inscribed :We demand 520US is not nowhere near inciting public violence. Zanupf must desist from capturing the judiciary system. A living wage is what all right thinking Zimbabweans must fight for versus enduring slave wages at the hands of an insensitive and corrupt regime.

Thank you Artuz leadership for leading the hashtag #FreeSheilaCampaign. I appreciate the role played by all social democrats around the globe. Your demand for non-selective application of the law to citizens has been granted through this historic bail after imprisonment. We reinterate that criminals criminals are walking free while political prisoners languish in hell- hole prisoners.

Obadiah Moyo stole 60 million US dollars, Mupfumira, Chombo only to mention but a few, these are the criminals who eat on behalf of starving teachers. They must face justice, they are genuine candidates for imprisonment. Sheila Chisirimunhu is a trade unionist who is obliged to the fight against peaceful slavery.

We will not sit and relax until Sheila Chisirimunhu has been acquitted.
