By Chido Mbewu | MDC-Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa, has been caught with pants down after failing to social distance, at a funeral he presided over recently.

Chamisa nicknamed the ‘funeral’ pastor, has in the past year alone presided over more funerals than any other church pastor, a concerned ZimEye reader noted.

Never mind the threat of Covid-19, with infections on a steep rise, the country recorded 34 deaths in a day, with 17,194 confirmed coronavirus cases and 418 deaths as of January 6, 2021.

In order to contain the rapid spread of the coronavirus, and to also build resilience among citizens, regulations and protocols have been put in place, among these is social distancing, which Chamisa was clearly in violation of during the late Senator Christine Java (nee Rambanepasi)’s funeral. Chamisa failed to lead by example.
