By A Correspondent| Harare High Court judge Clement Phiri has died from Covid-19.
According to state media, Justice Phiri died Sunday night at his Marondera home after he and his family had tested positive for the dreaded pandemic.
However, family members are said to have all recovered.
Last year, the top court official had part of his foot amputated.
He recovered and was now preparing to get a shoe for the remaining part.
Justice Phiri was appointed to his post September 2015 after working as a senior lawyer in private practice.
