Professor PLO Lumumba will deliver the keynote speech at the Virtual conference to be streamed live on Zoom at 12 noon UK time, 2pm Kenyan time and 1pm Zimbabwean time.

As a strong advocate of African development, she utilises her financial skills to structure innovative ways of financing African projects as well, she is also involved in the development and implementation of various developmental initiatives to make a sufficient dent on poverty.

Dr Godfrey Mahachi is the Executive Director of National Monuments and Monuments of Zimbabwe Prior to his current appointment, he was the Deputy Executive Director for about 10 years, before to which he served his organisation in different capacities which include Director of the Great Zimbabwe Monument and Southern Region of NMMZ, as well as Deputy Regional Director and then Regional Director for Northern, based here in Harare at the Zimbabwe Museum of Human Sciences. Dr. Mahachi studied History at the University of Zimbabwe where he graduated with a BA (Hons) degree. 

In the context of National Museums and Monuments of Zimbabwe’s post independence staff development programme, he was admitted by Pembroke College, University of Cambridge, where he graduated with Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Archaeology.  He then worked for NMMZ in various curatorial positions, in the area of archaeology.  He has also developed keen interest in the discipline of Heritage Management given National Museums and Monuments of Zimbabwe’s heritage management mandate. Currently, Dr Mahachi is a member of Council of the Great Zimbabwe University and is also a member of the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority Board of Directors.

Dr. Winston Mano is a Reader and faculty member at CAMRI, the University of Westminster’s top-rated Communication and Media Research Institute. He is Course Leader for the postgraduate program in Media and Development, and Director of the Africa Media Center. Dr. Mano founded the Journal of African Media Studies and is the current Editor-in-Chief. He began his academic career at the University of Zimbabwe as Senior Lecturer in Media and Communication before moving to London in the year 2000. Dr. Mano co-edited an earlier two-volume anthology on Social Media and Elections in Africa that was published by Springer Scientific. Prof. PLO Lumumba is a Professor of Public Law, a holder of an LLD on the Law of the Sea from the University of Ghent, Belgium, LLM degree and LLB degree from the University of Nairobi. He has been trained on Humans Rights at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies University of London, UK,  Humanitarian Law at the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of the University of Lund, Sweden and on International Humanitarian Law in Geneva, Switzerland. He is an Advocate of the High Courts of Kenya and Tanganyika and a Certified Mediator. He is a former Director of the defunct Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission (KACC), (Now Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)). He is the Founding Trustee of the African Institute for Leaders and Leadership (AILL). He currently practices Law with Lumumba and Lumumba Advocates and coordinates activities under the aegis of the PLO Lumumba Foundation to which he is the founder.

Princess Eugene of Harare is the granddaughter of the Paramount Chief of Harare, Chief Mbari of the Mbari clan and the gurundoro (lion clan) Chief Mbari was the ruler and owner of Harare Mazoe and part of Mount Hampden before Zimbabwe was colonised by the British in 1896.

Harare was named after Chief Mbari , a great man who had special abilities which he used to assist people. People travelled from afar seeking assistance, the people were so many such that Chief Mbari would not sleep, he would work overnight and the people ended up calling him “Harare

Princess Eugene is into Mass Communication and does a lot of media work worldwide and thrives to promote Culture and upholding traditions especially Zimbabwean culture where she comes from.

Princess Eugene has successfully hosted three conferences on repatriation to discuss the repatriation of Zimbabwe and  Royals who were killed and beheaded and whose heads are still being kept at a museum in London.

A lot of awareness has been created on the issue and  work is in progress to ensure the return of the remains to Zimbabwe.

Princess Eugene is a former athlete and sports Administrator as well as a talent scout who has scouted for various talents across the world. She is currently involved in a lot of media and broadcasting work which sees her being invited to most African and Global events.
