By A Correspondent| President Emmerson Mnangagwa has finaslly landed in Mutare to officially commission the multi-million dollar medical oxygen and industrial gas plant at Feruka in Mutare after his earlier trip last week ended in the skies due to bad weather.
Mnangagwa was expected to commission the plant last week but media reports alleged that the event had to be postponed following advice of aviation experts who felt the bad weather in the eastern highlands city posed a danger to him.
The project that Mnangagwa is finally commissioning is an oxygen plant constructed by Verify Engineering under the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education.
The company built the plant which it operates in conjunction with the Harare Institute of Technology.
