By A Correspondent- Jailed MDC-Alliance youth leader Makomborero Haruzivishe is said to be in good health at Harare Remand Prison, where he is detained while waiting for trial.

This was revealed by NCA spokesperson Madock Chivasa who visited the respected opposition activist on Friday.

Chivasa teamed up with MDC-Alliance youths, bought groceries and visited Haruzivishe.

Posting on his Facebook page soon after the visit, Chivasa said he stood with other pro-democracy activists in calling for the release of Haruzivishe.

“Today I went to Harare Remand Prison to visit Makomborero Haruzivishe, the MDC youth leader, on behalf of a group of Mako’s friends we established to offer solidarity with him and ensure that justice is done to his case. He was in high spirits, and we should collectively condemn his continued incarceration. As a group, we contributed to buy a few items to give to him. The struggle is real and continues,” posted Chivasa!

It has been several months since Haruzivishe was wrongfully imprisoned.

The MDC-Alliance youth leader was recently granted bail but could not go home. Instead, he was removed from Chikurubi maximum security prison to Harare remand prison on other trumped-up charges.
