By A Correspondent- Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema has removed more than 30 senior government officials.
An online news portal News Hawks reports that the over 30 fired included 20 permanent secretaries and 13 diplomats, mainly ambassadors.
” This was done, as he seeks to improve governance to promote “servant-based leadership”, “accountability” and “economic diplomacy.”
Hichilema, at the weekend, announced the finalisation of setting up his new cabinet.
The New Zambian President also held his first cabinet meeting at the weekend soon after assembling his government.
