Moses Chunga Speaks On Christmas

SOCCER Coaches Union of Zimbabwe president Moses Chunga has saluted his membership for their unity and dedication to duty and revealed that his organisation was working to improve their welfare through strategic partnerships in the coming year.
In a Christmas message to all soccer coaches in the land, Chunga also said their Memorandum of Understanding with ZIFA had paved the way for their recognition as an important body in the domestic game.
“The president of Soccer Coaches Union of Zimbabwe Moses Chunga, the national executive and the entire leadership would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May God give you joy and may he fulfil the desires of your heart .
“As SCUZ it is our desire to see you coming out of every challenge that awaits you in 2016 and may it be a prosperous year for you.
“Let’s maintain peace, unity and love it is through unity that we can overcome every challenge that we may come across as coaches .
“In the year ahead we promise to be more visible and accessible to every coach and to improve service delivery to every member. We will announce more partners and of note it will be to have technical partners to assist in coach education. We also plan to take our general members welfare to another level,’’ Chunga said.
The former Zimbabwe skipper also took time to reflect on the coaches they had lost through death who include legends Willard Mashinkila-Khumalo, Freddy Mkwesha and Paul Gundani.
“This year marked a great victory in making sure that our position was accepted by ZIFA and we signed a Memorandum of Understanding and this paved way for us to engage other stakeholders in the football fraternity.
“Let me close by remembering our dear brothers who have gone to be with the Lord this year, namely Willard Khumalo, Paul Gundani and the legendary Freddy Mkwesha, as we celebrate let’s remember their families, thank you wonderful people God Bless you,’’ Chunga said.-State Media
