Zimbabwe Warriors coach Sunday Chidzambwa is hoping Germany based player Kelvin Lunga will play for the national team in the COSAFA Tournament.
Lunga who is the son of former Dynamos forward Max Makanza plays for SV Rödinghausen in Germany.
According to The Standard, the 23-year-old could be included in the squad for the upcoming Cosafa Cup once the process of regularising his paperwork is done in time.
He holds a Germany passport.
“He (Kelvin) is in our future plans, and if we manage to get his travel documents in time he could be available for selection for the Cosafa Cup title defence,” Warriors manager Wellington Mupandare told The Standard.
“We have been following his progress in Germany for some time now, and he’s an exciting midfielder with a lot of pace and skill as well as an eye for goal. ”
