The Joice Mujuru led National People’ s Party(NPP) has claimed the ruling party Zanu PF is clandestinely working with ZEC to rig the 2010 harmonised elections.

NPP Spokesperson Jeffryson Chitando yesterday took a swipe at Zanu PF’ s Simon Khaya for defending ZEC’ s glaring bungling.

Said Chitando: “Zanu PF has suddenly turned itself into ZEC’ s mouthpiece.

Zimbabweans were shocked to watch on ZBCTV main news at 8pm Zanu PF’s Simon Khaya Moyo labouring to defend ZEC’ s errors.

Simon Khaya Moyo must understand that Zimbabweans are aware of his school bell role in politics.”

He added: ” Simon Khaya Moyo is playing the school bell role in Zanu PF.

He was used by Former President Robert Mugabe to read a statement on Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa’ s dismissal.

In a very short space of time he was used by the Zanu PF Lacoste faction to read a statement on Mugabe’s fall.

How can he defend ZEC, an independent organisation -which has its own structures–including a spokesperson?”
