Steward Bank Launches Crowd Funding Campaign To Combat Cholera, Typhoid

Terrence Mawawa|Steward Bank has launched its own crowdfunding campaign dubbed Kanzatu-Nzatu,
to raise money to fight cholera and typhoid.

The bank has pledged to match dollar for dollar all the
money raised through the campaign from individual contributions towards fighting cholera and typhoid.

The bank is targeting the sum of USD 2,000,000 in a bid to combat cholera and typhoid.More than 7000 cases of cholera have been recorded in Harare.About 30 people succumbed to the deadly epidemic over the past two weeks.

For those in Zimbabwe, the donations can be made via the EcoCash platform using the
biller code 142122.
Those outside the country can use the Kanzatu-Nzatu website on https://www.kanzatu.stewardbank.co.zw/cholera.

“Following the $10million donation
towards containing a dual outbreak of cholera and typhoid, Econet is
partnering with Higher Life Foundation to raise additional funds from corporates, charity organizations and individual well-wishers at home and abroad towards this national crisis.

As part of our further commitment, the Econet Group will match dollar for dollar all individual contributions made towards this cause. Donations can be made from anywhere in the world using the Kanzatu-Nzatu fundraising platform powered by Steward Bank,”the bank said in a statement.
