Own Correspondent|Norton Member of Parliament Temba Mliswa who on Tuesday sent out a sensational social media message insinuating that Vice President Constantino Chiwenga is not well has reversed his statement claiming that the Vice President is not in any danger.

In an updated Twitter post, Mliswa said that Chiwenga was only down with a bout of flu and was only wishing him well in his earlier post.

“For the avoidance of doubt as I see my yesterday tweet raised a lot of speculation. It’s common knowledge that Minister S B Moyo underwent an operation and for your information VP Chiwenga had flu. I was simply wishing them well as anyone else who may be under the weather, nothing more/life threatening,” said Mliswa.

Mliswa had on Tuesday raised speculation that Vice President Constantino Chiwenga and Minister of Foreign Affairs And International Trade Sibusiso Moyo are unwell.

Writing on his Twitter handle, Mliswa said:

I pray for Healing Mercies to cover our leaders VP Chiwenga & @MinisterSBMoyo May they both have speedy recoveries.
