By Farai D Hove | The controversial spiritist Walter Magaya Friday night threw a celebration saying that his hurriedly announced so called “HIV cure” has been given a chance by the government.
Magaya was last night arrested by police and appeared in court the following day, Friday. He was charged with contravening the Medicines Control Act.
However within 3 hours after being given bail, Magaya sped off to his organisation’s premises where he held a LIVE program and he announced saying government has actually given his so called “HIV cure” a chance.
He began by saying he has successfully requested the police to keep details of his arrest a secret.
“I did not tell anyone, I also asked the police not to mention because I did not want any of my child (sic) to know I have been arrested…,” he said.
He then continued saying despite the police arrest, the government has given him a chance. “After all this, the good news is they have agreed to test…
“To me, to me, to me just for them to agree to test, that’s the best news I received yesterday that they have agreed to test. We are going to work together, they explained the procession…”
