The president of Tanzania, John Pompey Magufuli has pledged to assist Zimbabwe with grain.

Magufuli said that Tanzania had a surplus during the 2018/19 farming season and feels obliged to help Zimbabwe which is expecting famine due to drought and cyclone Idai.

President Magufuli said this in Swahili and president Mnangagwa was the interpreter.
