Emmerson Mnangagwa has appointed former Finance Minister, Patrick Chinamasa as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Air Zimbabwe.

A press statement by the Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr. Misheck Sibanda reads:

His Excellency the President, Cde Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, has appointed Cde Patrick Anthony Chinamasa as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Air Zimbabwe. Cde Chinamasa, who is the ZANU PF Secretary for Finance, has served the Government of Zimbabwe in several Governmental portfolios including that of Minister of Finance and Economic Development.
His appointment is with immediate effect.
