The MDC Youth Assembly is deeply saddened by the passing on of Honorable Vimbai Tsvangirai Java.

Hon Tsvangirai’s death comes at a critical time when the movement and nation is crying for visionary young female leaders of her mould.

As a party, the untimely death of Honorable Tsvangirai Java is a double loss especially considering that she was recently elected the Women Assembly Secretary General in the just ended MDC 5th congress.

It is very painful that as a party we had invested our hopes on tapping wisdom from this rare crop of a woman that we believed attained best ever leadership degree from her iconic father, Dr Morgan Richard Tsvangirai.

As an Assembly, we are deeply gutted as we had also hoped to tap from this spring of wisdom which had so much abundance of promise in the short time that she served as a Member of Parliament for Glen View South Constituency.

As we mourn, we remain alive to fact that Honorable Tsvangirai Java’s death is a signpost to the man made hellhole that our country has become.

Our roads have become death snares due to lack of proper maintenance and road signs.

It is not mendacious that ZANU PF is the author in chief of all this rot associated with road carnage.

As young people of this once jewel of Africa, it is time we take charge and stop this mismanagement that has claimed thousands of lives.

Once again we would like to express our deepest heartfelt condolences to the MDC family, Tsvangirai and Java families and our President Nelson Chamisa.
