By Own Correspondent| A Daily News article alleging former First Lady Grace Mugabe has insulted her husband’s usurper, Emmerson Mnangagwa has been challenged for facts.

The Daily News article republished in Newsday, does not have a comment from the other side (Mrs Mugabe), and the journalist appears to have not cared a moment to grant the former First Lady a right to reply to the allegation.

An impeccable source who requested anonymity told ZimEye the supposed attack against farmers allegedly by Mrs Grace Mugabe is not true.

“Amai will soon offload her recorded evidence and the nation will see for themselves,” they said.

“How could Daily News rush to write an article on a person who is not in the country?” they asked.

The farm involved belongs to the former president’s son, Bellamine.

“This is not the first time the Daily News has done this. Ever since the family refused President Mugabe’s body to be buried at Heroes Acre this has been the norm.

“The only meeting that took place involved a group of men who descended onto the farm and they announced saying they have been sent by president Mnangagwa and (Agriculture Minister) Perrence Shiri.

“She simply replied them saying let us then go back to vaMnangagwa. Upon that moment they turned back and never returned,” the source said.

The Central Intelligence Organisation’s Director General Isaac Moyo reportedly knows the true story and he is “not fooled.”

Could the development be a direct attack on Bellamine so to punish him for recent statements he made on the instagram website saying, I will never invest a dollar in Zimbabwe for 5 years” ?
