Econet Wireless has announced that it is giving all its subscribers three free call minutes as compensation for time lost during an over twenty four hour network breakdown on Thursday.

Econet said the 3 free minutes can be used by subscribers to call any Econet number between 8PM to 9PM on Sunday 26 July, 2020.

The country’s biggest mobile phone service provider goes on to apologise for the service disruptions which resulted in customers being unable to make calls as well as access the internet.

Below is the statement issued by the company:

Enjoy 3 FREE minutes on voice calls when you call any Econet number between 8 pm and 9 pm tonight, Sunday 26 July 2020.
