Thanking Harare Councillors for Standing with the National Democratic Revolution

Congratulations to Advocate Jacob Mafume for ascending to the position of Mayor of Harare.

What an onerous honor. This is an opportunity to serve and fight for delivery of superior services to the residents of the City of Harare,they deserve it.

President Chamisa and the entire party leadership appreciate the solid team that you shall be working with.

Special thanks indeed to the councillors who braved the threats of recall and shunned the carrots that were dangled in their faces by the Khupe cabal and wisely voted for the MDC Alliance candidate, Advocate Jacob Mafume for the position of Mayor of Harare.

We are grateful of your display of consciousness,that you had an obligation to defend the wishes of the electorate over and above narrow selfish political interests.

The agenda to deliver transformation, basic services , infrastructure and participation with integrity has remained firmly in the hands of the people and the MDC alliance , thanks to the focused and determined councilors. We are gratified, the party is delighted.

It is time to deliver , time to unite , and indeed time for purposive focus ,superior services and the pursuit of our smart city agenda.
