Impala Car Hire owner Thompson Dondo has passed away, a source close to the family has confirmed.

Details of his death are still sketchy but the source said it is not COVID-19 related.

Another source briefly commented saying:

Another dark cloud has hot us again. Mr Thompson Dondo of Impala Car Hire has passed away. Details will follow from the family spokesperson. I just got the call from one of his managers Simms. It’s not Covid related. My sincerest condolences to the Dondo family and all who knew him. He had a very close relationship with us as the Arts Journalist Association of Zimbabwe and he will be dearly missed. May his soul rest in peace.
