By Jane Mlambo| Local hip hop star Stunner has assumed the big brother role to reprimand fellow singer Ti-Gonzi over his strong words against comedian Comic Pastor.
Comic Pastor released a hip hop song dissing a number of people including Mudiwa.
This followed an ongoing beef between Zimdancehall singer Enzo Ishall and Holy Ten after the former released a hip hop song titled Hillary Makhaya before going on to declare himself king of the genre.
Holy 10 responded with a diss song that got social media talking as he ripped into Enzo Ishall while dismissing his love proposal for socialite Hillary Makhaya as unbefitting.
Ti-Gonzi has also found himself sucked in the ongoing feud between Zimdancehall and Hip hop but Stunner has told him to relax and not take it to the heart.
Below is Stunner’s message to Ti-Gonzi….
Well it was fun when @enzoishall was doing his “hip hop” thing and @holytenmusic replying and all but when strong words start coming from respected members like @tigonzi towards comic pastor @r.peels on the other end…… we have to remind ourselves to draw the line somewhere and say “hey this is not the kind of people we are” . Yes hip hop has its culture and anyone can decide they want to start rapping just as dancehall. This is a decision that comes from the heart you can’t stop anyone from expressing his self but let’s remember to keep it musical . Haisi America ino and most of you rappers I’m sorry to say this but muchaionera pa tv chete and what comes on TV is just acting and selling products. Comic pastor is a comedian and he can sing a sungura song next week and he will lose nothing so let’s laugh / enjoy the song and move on from it (wait for his next joke) . That’s all.
