President Condolences Message

The Caps United Football Club President, Mr Farai Jere, would like to extend his most profound and heartfelt condolences to the Mugabe family follow the sad death of our former Captain Joe Kode Mugabe today in the UK

The President reached out to Joe’s family in Reading and passed his sympathetic condolences message on behalf of the Club.

The President is calling upon all the Caps United Fans and Patrons to unite in mourning our legendary Captain who served the club with full distinctions in the 90s.

The President has reassured the Zimbabwe Football Fraternity that Caps United FC will work closely with the Mugabe Family and support them to ensure that Joe is peacefully mourned and laid to rest in a manner he deserves as Club Legend.

The President also expressed his gratitude for the manner in which Captain Joe Mugabe selflessly served the Club during his era as player/captain and as Chairman of the Caps United UK Legends Association.

Caps United Football Club will forever cherish Joe’s great works and dedicated service to the club on and off the pitch.
