ACCIDENT LATEST: Got Pays Out $4,000 To Victims

THE ZIMBABWEAN GOVERNMENT has availed a compensation payout of $200 to accident victims.

Minister of Transport, Obert Mpofu said government is to assist in burying the 20 passengers burnt beyond recognition when a South Africa-bound Pro-liner bus went into flames after being sideswiped by a haulage truck.

The total availed by Mpofu is $4,000.

Announced Mpofu yesterday: “On behalf of government and the country as a whole…as a humble token of sharing in their grief, I do hereby wish to invoke section 32C of the Civil Protection Act and accordingly offer assistance of 200 for each of the deceased…”

  1. Obert ,Obert.Where are the toll gates moneys?What’s $4000 for 20 deceased families?More likely breadwinners taken away because of the nature of your roads.God will punish you for the insult and mockery

  2. This is a shock donation . A mockery to the diceased. When millions of monies can be abused by this govt. then you donate peanuts like this to people its a pittance.
