By Farai D Hove| MDC leader Nelson Chamisa was Friday night brisked by the Lacoste ZANU PF faction which celebrated a Mnangagwa scarf moment seen with British ambassador Catriona Laing.
Ambassador Laing published a picture of herself adorned in the same scarf MDC supporters have in recent days been mocking President Emmerson Mnangagwa for.
Some even went to the extent of labelling it the “Jah Man scarf” while saying Mnangagwa must remove it as it not fashionable. The spirit of the moment was that Mnangagwa is fast losing his public credits.
But in a twist of events, the British ambassador took a turn to somewhat support President Mnangagwa’s scarf culture. After flying into the UK for some days, ambassador Laing tweeted from No.10 Downing Street a positive message about Mnangagwa’s Zimbabwe, “Good discussions with No 10 officials on prospects for #Zimbabwe. It’s been a busy and productive week. Now on my way back.”
The below picture was circulated far and wide by ZANU PF members on Friday night as they claimed that the highly popular Nelson Chamisa is now “no more” politically
