The MDC Welfare Department is prepared to furnish President Emmerson Mnangagwa with a detailed report of the brutal acts of political violence perpetrated by Zanu PF members in 2008.
Mnangagwa riled opposition parties and pressure groups when he claimed he was oblivious of the atrocious acts.
According to the MDC Welfare Department, hundreds of the opposition party’ s supporters were killed ahead of the 2008 Presidential Election Runoff that was controversially won by Robert Mugabe.
“We have a comprehensive list of party members who were murdered by the ruling party Zanu (PF) and State Security Agents,” said the department in a statement yesterday.
The department also accused Mnangagwa, Mugabe and the military junta of subverting the will of the people by blocking Morgan Tsvangirai from becoming the country’ s President.
