In a calculated manoeuvre meant to stifle the National Patriotic Front(NPF) project, a senior Zanu PF official has urged party members to stop the expulsion of suspected G-40 elements.

Masvingo Provincial Chairperson, Ezra Chadzamira told party supporters here last week, there was need to forgive perceived G-40 elements for the sake of unity and sanity.

Chadzamira explained that it would be suicidal for the ruling party to expel dissenting members before the crucial plebiscite.

Zanu PF has been shaken by former President Robert Mugabe’s involvement in the formation of a new political front, NPF.

“We cannot continue to expel our members. This has to stop forthwith, given the latest developments,” said Chadzamira.
