Zimbabwe senior men’s soccer team the Warriors will be taking part in a four nations mini tournament to see the who is who of Southern Africa football.
The tournament to be held in Zambia from the 22nd to the 25th of March will feature the four Southern Africa top rivals Zimbabwe, Zambia, South Africa and Angola.
Warriors coach Sunday Chindzabwa has announced his team for the tournament and includes some top foreign based players to show how serious the nations are taking the tornament organised by the Football Association Of Zambia.
Zambian “Chipolopolo” coach Wedson Nyirenda has also summoned eight foreign based players for the Tournament to be staged in Ndola.
Nyirenda named four Europe based stars in Patson Daka (Red bull Salzburg), Enock Mwepu (FC Liefering), Fashion Sakala (Spartak Moscow) and Emmanuel Banda (K.V Oostende).
Red hot South Africa based duo of Justin Shonga and Augustine Mulenga complete the list of foreign based players alongside Roderick Kabwe (Ajax Cape Town) and Salulani Phiri (Polokwane City).
Zambia will play Zimbabwe on Match Day One while South Africa faces Angola at the same venue in a double header event at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
Winners in the two matches will battle for gold while the losers will play each other on March 25 at another double header event.
