By Farai D Hove| MDC leader Nelson Chamisa was yesterday criticised by some on his bullet train promise.

The London based analyst, George Shire said Chamisa does not even know where the money will come from to fund the project.

Wrote George Shire on ZimEye.com, “I have been to Morocco a number of times. I was in Marrakesh as recently as three weeks ago. Morocco’s infrastructure especially its public transport system is heavily dependent on foreign investment and the country has not been the subject of 18 years of economic sanctions.

“It’s taken 6 years of development to get it where it is now. With all the best intentions in the world Morocco is not comparable to Zimbabwe or anywhere else in the SADC region.

“Chamisa has to tell us how much his pipe dream is going to cost and where the money is going to come from. Our economy is not capable of funding his outlandish schemes.”
