Harare Giants Dynamos returned to winning ways following their 1-0 win over Mutare City at Vengere Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Glamour Boys had last picked up maximum points in round 11 and the victory propelled them to 17 points but remained on 13th place.

Substitute Tawanda Macheke scored a late goal in the 83rd minute – which made the difference at the end of the encounter.

Both teams created good chances before, with Dembare’s Valentine Kadonzvo and Cleopas Kapupurika getting countless opportunities but they wasted them all.

Rovers also had a goal ruled out for offside in the 20th – which could have changed the complexion of the game.
