Zanu PF Agents Accuse Clergymen Of Supporting Opposition

Suspected ruling party agents are accusing clergymen in Masvingo of supporting opposition parties, it has emerged.
Impeccable sources revealed to ZimEye.com at the weekend several clergymen were threatened by suspected Zanu PF agents for allegedly campaigning for the opposition.
The sources further disclosed the ruling party agents visited several clergymen in the city of Masvingo and ordered them to desist from campaigning for the opposition.
“Zanu PF agents are claiming church leaders are using the pulpit to campaign for opposition parties.
Several church leaders have been phoned and threatened for allegedly sabotaging Zanu PF activities,” a Masvingo based clergyman who declined to be named said last week.
