Parastatals Owe Country Half A Million In Unpaid Tax

The country’s state run companies owe ZIMRA over $491 million in
unpaid taxes.

At a time the country’ s economy is virtually grounded, state run companies have continued to default on the payment of tax, it has emerged.

The revenue authority disclosed the shocking deficit  in its 2017 annual report.

“It is a black hole and for government
this highlights their dilemma, how do
we stop the public sector from bleeding government in this way?

Parastatals are using
