Poverty can be increased by political leadership and as well poverty can be narrowed or reduced by Political leadership. To eradicate poverty takes not much of Government role but individual effort and the mentality of the citizenry effort. Empowerment means to help or facilitate the means for production to be accessible to the indigenous people.

Without entrepreneurial participation a nation may only enjoy services and infrastructure development but lacking ownership. If external investment is not balanced with entrepreneurial effort then the local people may only enjoy employment and improved services but unfortunately they will remain poor. Africans should invest in Africa, we need the means for production and to hire experts to Train our people. If Africa can borrow money to buy technology then that will help. Let the local people do the construction work and own the land, rent to buy technology and develop skills.
