By Own Correspondent| War veterans have described MDC Alliance President Nelson Chamisa as a power hungry leader who unlawfully usurped the Presidency from its rightful leader, Thokozani Khupe urging the real MDC T supporters to redress this and throw Chamisa into the political dustbin.

Addressing the media in Harare Tuesday, Secretary General of the Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWVA), Victor Matemadanda said it was ironic that Chamisa was being at the fore front of claiming to be a democrat yet he had illegally grabbed power from Khupe.

Said Matemadanda:

“Chamisa is a President who hijacked power from the backdoor, I don’t know why America does not tell Chamisa to learn how to democratically take power.

They should have punished Chamisa for taking power from Thokozani Khupe but they support the young lumpen.

Chamisa grabbed power from Thokozani Khupe in complete defiance of the MDC Constitution. But America did not even raise a finger.

It is ironic that America is trying to promote democracy by supporting a person who does not himself believe and abide by the tenets of a democratic behaviour.”

Surprisingly, America has not condemned him but seem to be cheering him on as he and (MDC Alliance Principal Tendai) Biti have sought to sow anarchy in Zimbabwe.”
