Terrence Mawawa| A Shurugwi man has been arrested for assaulting his neighbour and setting dogs on him after being incensed by the ED Pfee Maxim.

According to a police report, Evidence Makara called his neighbour, Thembinkosi Mayoyo on his mobile and the latter chanted the maxim ED Pfee.This did not augur well with Makara who went to Mayoyo’ s homestead and accused the latter of sabotaging the will of the people.

“Makara went to Mayoyo’ s homestead and upon arrival he began to hurl insults at his neighbour. He threw stones at Mayoyo and set dogs on him,” read part of the police report.

Makara, who is being represented by Advocate Mapfumo Mavese has been remanded in custody pending trial.
