By Own Correspondent| President Emmerson Mnangagwa has arrived in China where he is attending the 7th Forum on China – Africa cooperation (FOCAC).
Mnangagwa who is being accompanied by China’s chief envoy to Harare Ambassador Huang Ping is in China amid expectations that the country’s recently inagurated leader will broker new deals with the Asian giant.
Mnangagwa is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with the host of the international forum, President Xi Jinping, on Wednesday.
Said Mnangagwa:
“I have arrived in China for the 7th Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Summit.
I am proud to be representing my fellow Zimbabweans at this important meeting as we continue to build a better future for our beloved nation.
