Own Correspondent|Over forty people are feared dead after a bus travelling to Messina in South Africa from Bulawayo went up in flames on the Bulawayo – Beitbridge highway outside Gwanda.

The bus belonging to Brooklyn Express burst into flames while in full speed shortly after mid night on Friday morning.

Eyewitnesses who spoke to ZimEye.com claim that at least fifty people could have been in the bus and only a few survived.

Emergency services personnel from nearby Collen Bawn Mine and Gwanda are attending to the incident.
