By Own Correspondent| Arrested Amalgamated Rural Teachers Union of Zimbabwe (ARTUZ) protestors were detained for three hours before they were released, ZimEye can reveal.

Police details this morning arrested nine participants in the #Salarycamp and detained them at Harare Central police station.

The arrested ARTUZ leaders were Obert Masaraure, Robson Chere, Fortune Jamela, Regai Chinhuto, Gerald Tavengwa, Lawrence Mapengo, Andrew Munguri, Munyaradzi Ndawana and Christine Jubane.

Said Robson Chere:

“We have been released after spending 3 hours in Police Custody. However the Salary Camp will resume at 2 p.m Thanks to ZLHR, Cde Doug Coltart and all for the Solidarity.”
