By A Correspondent| The United Nations was on Monday criticised for concentrating on male circumcision programmes instead of focusing on methods of stopping the military brutality that has seen scores killed and over a thousand human rights violations.

This was after the body posted a tweet on the male circumcision program and it came within an hour of a video surfacing showing soldiers assaulting women with children at the houses near Harare last Friday.

The UN however responded by publishing their recent statement which was published last week on the 1st February.
