By Own Correspondent| Opposition MDC leader Nelson Chamisa has attributed the country’s woes to politicians expressing willingness to engage Zanu Pf leader President Emmerson Mnangagwa for the benefit of the nation.

Chamisa maintained that legitimacy issues remained contentious since he polled over 2, 6 million votes ahead of his arch rival Zanu Pf’s Mnangagwa despite the declaration by the Constitutional Court which said Mnangagwa had won the election.

He said this at a breakfast prayer meeting organised by churches in Harare.

Said Chamisa:

We as politicians are the trouble makers. We are responsible for the agony of our nation. I am ready any moment to meet Mnangagwa to resolve issues affecting Zimbabwe, any delay is a life lost.
