Controversial Zanu PF politician and Deputy Minister of Information, Energy Mutodi has sensationally offered himself to take over the Zanu PF Youths league from the ousted Pupurai Togarepi saying he is committed to empower party youths.

Mutodi who is no stranger to controversy allegedly belongs to the Mnangagwa faction and has been outspoken in his defence of his boss on social media, something the ousted members were accused of failing.

Posting on Twitter today, Mutodi said, ”
I am ready to serve as the ZANU PF Secretary for the Youth League if President ED Mnangagwa chooses me. I am committed to the establishment of an informed, vibrant, vigilant & empowered youth league for the good of our party ZANU PF & for the greater good of Zimbabwe.”
