Ecosure Apologises For Making Deductions Without Customers’ Authority

Own Correspondent|ECONET’s insurance division, Ecosure, has apologized after having been caught up in a storm where deductions were made from EcoCash subscribers’ mobile money accounts without the knowledge or consent of the clients.
Several EcoCash clients have in the past few days complained that Ecosure subscriptions were being deducted from their EcoCash balances without them having signed up for the facility.
Ecosue said affected clients have since been refunded. Below is their statement:
