Correspondent|STATE broadcaster Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) has lost another senior journalist. The ZBC Masvingo Bureau Chief Desmond Duri has died.

He was 40.

Duri died early today after a short illness.

Duri died just a few hours before the ZBC’s Diplomatic Correspondent Judith Makwanya was laid to rest in Harare on Thursday afternoon at Warren Hills cemetery.

Makwanya passed away early this week at West End Clinic in Harare after blood pressure complications. Her death was also “after a short illness”.
