By A Correspondent| ZimEye is getting insider reports that suggest that today Thursday, President Emmerson Mnangagwa is visiting Ngauni, an area in Chipinge where one of the highly popular sangomas Zimbabwe stays. The so called “miracle worker” is mbuya Makopa also known as Chanaka.

There are fears in Chipinge that Mnangagwa is on a mission to obtain so called super-natural or extraterrestrial powers.

Mbuya Makopa is famous. She is said to have assisted the freedom fighters during the liberation struggle win the war, although historians (who state the opposite, that the guerillas had actually lost the war by 1978 – as seen in video footage) say the war was ended rather by sanctions slapped against the former Prime Minister Ian Smith’s regime.

It is alleged that former President Robert Mugabe, the late Rev Ndabaningi Sithole of ZANU Ndonga, the late former Prime Minister & MDC T leader Morgan Tsvangirai used to visit her be given powers and luck charms. Even the late sekuru Ndunge feared mbuya Makopa.

She is now said to be in her late 80s. After Ngaone Mnangagwa will visit Kopa (sometimes written as Copper).

Efforts to obtain a comment from State House were fruitless at the time of writing as phones kept ringing without an answer.
