By Own Correspondent- President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has sent a congratulatory message to US president Donald Trump on the country’s 243rd independence anniversary.

He posted the message on his Twitter account handle, @edmnangagwa.

“On behalf of the people of Zimbabwe, I want to wish Happy Independence Day to @realDonaldTrump and all the people of the United States of America.

”We look forward to continuing to broaden and deepen the relationship with @usembassyharare and between our two peoples,” President Mnangagwa said in his message.
