Farai Dziva|MDC Masvingo Provincial Youth Chairperson Kudakakwashe Bhadharai has urged party members to ignore calls for a purported Congress.

Revolutionary Salutations fellow Masvingo Cdes. There comes a time when silence is betrayal.

The Masvingo Provincial Youth Leadership wants to put it on record that MDC as a people’s party and indeed party of excellence ,.is run procedurally and within the confines of the constitution, party constitution.

The Provincial Youth Assembly leadership is disturbed and worried by the various messages circulating on whatsapp, calling for the so called Congress in the province.

We want to reiterate here and now that Masvingo Congress came and is gone , and as a province ,our pre occupation now is the pending bye elections in Masvingo,.which we cant afford to lose. Its also important to note that MDC as a party of excellence , has different organs serving different purposes , and such organs are the ones mandated and tasked to make different resolutions ,which then are communicated through official channels and protocol ,and this has preserved the party and allow it to continue operating professionally .

Meanwhile ,as Masvingo Provincial Youth Assembly , we are ceased with preparations and crafting of strategies for bye elections campaigns in Zaka East and Masvingo North. Our focus is more on mobilising the young voter to vote in their numbers, but most importantly, liberate the predominantly rural Masvingo from the shackles of Zanu PF.
