Jane Mlambo| Magistrate Munamato Mutevedzi will tomorrow at 10am make a ruling on the State’s application to detain Tourism Minister, Prisca Mupfumira for a further 21 days.

Following the state’s application that she be detained for a further 21 days, Mupfumira’s lawyer Charles Chinyama argued against extended detention saying she is a high ranking public official and is of fixed abode.

Mupfumira appeared at the Harare Magistrates Court to answer to charges of corruption and abuse of office.

She was arrested yesterday by the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC).
