By Farai D Hove| Econet boss, Strive Masiyiwa who after doling out a $100 million donation to Zimbabwe’s incapacitated doctors, has been challenged for failing to pay his own workers well.

Yesterday Masiyiwa’s foundation announced a $100 million to incapacitated doctors, amounting to $5,000 per doctor for the next 5 months.

But the Zimbabwe Bankers And Allied workers union has announced that his own workers from Steward Bank are incapacitated. It was not clear at the time of writing how much they are being paid.

ZIBAWU said: It is called hypocrisy.

His workers @stewardbank are incapacitated & he has not offered anything. He is trying to use doctors’ struggle & suffering for his egoistic PR drive. Doctors are workers and if he feels for workers let him show that @stewardbank & @econetzimbabwe.

Meanwhile, it was revealed his donation is of Zim Dollars not USD.

At the time of writing, a comment from both Econet and Steward Bank was fruitless.
